After School Care
Company is First Presbyterian Day School’s after school care program. It is available for any currently enrolled students in preschool through sixth grade who need to stay after 2:45pm carpool. After school care takes place on campus and offers fun and enriching experiences for students. We follow a rotation schedule that prioritizes homework for older grades and creates space for organized play. Company begins the first full day of school and is open all full days when school is in session.
Students must register and select an enrollment option before participating in Company
Options and Fees
Beginning in fall 2026, the rates and registration for Company will all be billed at a flat rate. In considering the varying needs of different families in our school, we have four Company enrollment options to choose from to best fit each individual student.
Unlimited: $210 per month (until end of day)
Part-Time: $140 per month (until 4:15pm)
Drop In: $30 per day (until end of day)
Sports+Company: $40 per season
The Drop In option can be combined with the Part-Time or Sports+Company options if needed. Fees will be posted to your student’s FACTS account monthly.
Early Registration Fee: $25 (March 1 - July 31)
Late Registration Fee: $50 (August 1 - remainder of school year)
The registration fee will only be applied once per school year.
General Information
At 2:45pm dismissal, students will be directed by teachers to either carpool or Company. Parents should communicate with their student, or mark their bag tags each day, as to where they should go at the end of the school day. Once in Company, staff will take attendance and begin daily programming. Students are welcome, and encouraged, to bring a snack if staying for after school care. Parents can pick up their students from Company by signing them out at the school office. There is no capacity limit for after school care, so any student registered will be able to participate.
Company can also serve as bridge for your student between sports and extracurricular activities. Company will dismiss and ensure students transition between on campus after school activities as needed.
Company is available to all students enrolled in a full-day program. If your student is enrolled in half-day preschool or kindergarten, they are not eligible to participate in Company. Company is not available when school dismisses for a half-day.

Unlimited Company guarantees after school care until the end of day without exception. This is the best option for families needing consistent, full day coverage.

Part-time Company provides after school care everyday until 4:15pm. This option is great for families needing limited coverage on a regular basis.
If you are enrolled in the Part-Time option but need to use Company past 4:15pm, the drop in day rate can be applied.

If your student will only stay for Company when their sports event warrants it, we will now have a reduced Sports+Company rate option available. This only applies to students on an FPDS sport team who are not enrolled in a Company option, and will provide coverage only for the time between the end of school and the start of practice or game happening on campus. If a student is enrolled in Part-Time or Unlimited Company, this service is already included.
Example: If your student plays basketball and will only stay in Company on the days they have practice or a game from 2:45pm until their event begins, this option was made for you.

For families needing occasional after school care every now and then, we will still have a drop in Company option. Parents should register their students for this option, and the rate will be applied for any day the student stays for Company. The drop in system will continue to function as it always has!
