CHAPEL

Chapel will begin next week in the First Presbyterian Church Sanctuary. We invite parents and grandparents to attend chapel at any time throughout the year. Please see the schedule below; Chapel will begin each morning at 8:15 am.  Offerings will be taken up for our school-wide mission project.  The first term we will be supporting our local police; serving those that serve our community so well.

Tuesdays (K5 - 2nd)

Wednesdays (5th - 6th)

Thursdays (3rd - 4th)

CARPOOL TIPS

Carpool went well this first week and will continue to speed up.  Thank you for your patience and for following the procedures below.

  • The porte-cochere on the Belhaven side is only for K3 and K4 students in the mornings.  Older siblings may exit the car at the same time, but we ask that only families with K3 or K4 car riders use this drop off point in the morning.

  • K5 parents… unless you have younger siblings, your student is no longer required to use the porte-cochere on Belhaven.  They may now get out with our older students.  Pinehurst is an excellent and convenient morning drop off and staff is stationed there to help and direct.

  • Belhaven Morning Carpool…  Parents and students may not cross the street during morning carpool for any reason.  Safety is our top priority.  Along, that same line, we ask cars to follow the natural flow of traffic and obey traffic laws by staying on the right side of the road.  Do not cross over to the left side of the road to drop your student off.

MOMS IN PRAYER - Moms and Grandmothers are welcome.

All FPDS moms are invited to join Moms in Prayer! For information and a calendar of meeting times, please see the attached information sheet or visit https://www.fpds.org/moms-in-prayer
