CHAPEL CHAT:

This week in Chapel, we continued in our study of the parables in Luke 7:36-50, The Parable of the two Debtors. Please READ the passage together!

(1.) What is at the HEART of this Parable?

(2.) Was Simon being judgmental or curious? How could Simon have handled the situation?

(3.) We all struggle with being judgmental of others who are different to others or who think differently to us. Why is it important to restrain our speech (hint: how much do we truly understand about another persons life)?

(4.) In the context of the Parable of Two debtors being completely forgiven, in what ways is that to change our interactions with other people (hint: God's forgiveness of our sin)?

Pray that God would teach us to be forgiving of, patient with, and loving towards others!
