At FPDS, we believe the very best way to share who we are is through the voices and relationships of our own faculty and staff. Each of you plays such an important role in helping families see the heart of our school—because you live it out every single day.
You may know a neighbor who’s expecting a baby, a teammate from your child’s sports team with a preschooler, or a family you sit next to at church who’s beginning to think about schools. Those personal connections open doors for us to extend a warm welcome, send a small gift, or simply start a conversation about what makes The Day School so unique.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to think about the families in your circle—we know your efforts make a difference! To make it simple, we’ve created a quick referral form you can fill out anytime.
Report Card Reminder - October 16th
As the first nine weeks come to an end, please make a note that all report cards for first through sixth grades will be emailed on Thursday, October 16th.
Fall Sports Picture Day - October 30th
Reminder: Say cheese, Crusaders—it’s picture day for our fall athletes! On Wednesday, October 30, from 8:30–10:30 a.m., photos will be taken for Football, Cheer, Volleyball, Swim, and 3rd/4th Grade Basketball. These photos will be used throughout the year and included in the 2025–2026 yearbook. Parents should check their inbox for Coach Moss’s email with full details.
FPDS Lost & Found
To make things easier for families, all Lost & Found items will be moved to the front desk during the last week of each month. Please label your student’s belongings and stop by to check for missing items!
Chapel Chat
This week in Chapel, we continued our study of Matthew 13: 45-46. In this parable, we are reminded of the worth of Jesus Christ, the King of the eternal Kingdom of God.
What ‘thing’ does Jesus compare the worth of the Kingdom to?
What does this man do in order to get this treasure? What does that mean for us now?
Now ask and think about this question: How valuable is Jesus to you? Is He worth more than anything in this life?
Pray that God would allow Jesus Christ to be your greatest treasure and the one that you love more than anything in this world.
Holiday Potpourri Updates
Holiday Potpourri is almost here—and we need YOU! Parents, there are plenty of ways to get involved, from helping students with their Holiday Potpourri artwork to volunteering at the event on Friday, November 14. We truly cannot make this special day happen without your support. There’s a spot for everyone, and you’ll have a great time while giving back to our school community. Sign Up HERE!
