Refer a Future FPDS Family

Click here to introduce a new family!

At FPDS, we believe the very best way to share who we are is through the voices and relationships of our own faculty and staff. Each of you plays such an important role in helping families see the heart of our school—because you live it out every single day.

You may know a neighbor who’s expecting a baby, a teammate from your child’s sports team with a preschooler, or a family you sit next to at church who’s beginning to think about schools. Those personal connections open doors for us to extend a warm welcome, send a small gift, or simply start a conversation about what makes The Day School so unique.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to think about the families in your circle—we know your efforts make a difference! To make it simple, we’ve created a quick referral form you can fill out anytime.

Extracurricular Activities:

  • At dismissal, all students should either go to carpool or Company. If a student has an extracurricular activity, Company staff will release them to their activity at the appropriate time. Students who attend activities at 3:00pm will not be charged for Company unless they stay after that activity ends.

  • Please do not allow your children to be unattended in the school during basketball games.

FPDS Pep Rally Monday, October 6th @ 2:15 PM

Dyslexia Awareness Day - Wear Your Red!

Thursday, October 9 – Dyslexia Awareness Day
Students are invited to wear a red shirt with jeans or uniform bottoms! Our 1st–6th grade dyslexia students will join a special celebration at 2:05 PM. Teachers will share more details with families soon!

Chapel Chat

This week in Chapel, we continued our study of the Parables of Jesus, focusing on the Parable of the Yeast (Leaven) found in Luke 13:20–21.

We encourage you to read Luke 13:20–21 as a family and use these questions to spark conversation at home:

  1. What is leaven (or yeast), and what is its purpose?

  2. Why does Jesus compare the growth of the Kingdom of God with the effect of leaven?

  3. How can we, both individually and as a community, act as leaven in the world? Can you think of some examples?

As you reflect, pray that God would continue His work in us and through us—expanding His Kingdom and lifting up the name of Jesus Christ.

Chapel Offering Reminder
Our first 9-weeks Chapel offering will support Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson. Over the next two weeks, students are encouraged to bring a requested item on their assigned Chapel day—such as Kleenex, coloring books, crayons, games, or small toys. This is a wonderful way for us to share the love of Christ with children and families in need. Thank you for your support!
