Priority Applications Now OPEN!
Priority applications for the 2026–2027 school year (Preschool–6th Grade) are officially open! Priority is given to FPDS staff, current FPDS families, FPC church members, and FPDS alumni. Please note: applications submitted after October 31 may not receive priority consideration and will be reviewed in the order they are received.
We encourage families to go ahead and submit applications now—and if you’d like to learn more about FPDS, this is also a wonderful time to schedule a tour. Simply talk to Camille Hassell, Admissions Coordinator (chassell@fpds.org). We look forward to welcoming new Crusaders—it's a great time to be part of the FPDS family!
Pre-School Check Out Announcement
K3, K4, & K5 Check-Out: 1:00–2:15 PM. If checking out your child during this time, please be prepared to walk to their classroom to pick them up.
Company Billing FAQs
As a reminder, the cost of Company is $5 per hour per child. There has been no change to this rate. Usage is billed by the hour, not by the minute. Students are charged $5 at the start of each hour for the following 60 minutes. Parents can pick up students at any time within the hour! Check in and out times are closely monitored by staff to maintain accuracy. If you have questions about your student’s Company usage, please contact the billing office. We are working to make Company simple and convenient for our families!
FPDS Football Preschool Night – September 30, 2025: There’s still time to sign up! Our 3K and 4K students can join a football player or cheerleader for a fun run-through at the start of the game. Enjoy a photo opportunity, face painting, and festive pom-poms for all the fun.
Preschool Night Instructions:
Arrival: 5:15–5:30 PM at School of Deaf & Blind (1252 Eastover Drive)
Meeting Spot: Track in the north end zone
Event: Preschoolers run onto the field and are announced before the opening prayer
Pickup: Sideline immediately after the national anthem
Attire: FPDS spirit wear (toddler jerseys and t-shirts available in the Crusader Store)

Crusader Store News
We’re excited to announce that new items are being added to the Crusader Clothing Store online every week!
New Items Added Weekly: Be sure to check back on Fridays for fresh updates!
Order Fulfillment: We typically fill orders within 5 business days, and they can be picked up at the school office anytime during business hours.
New Storefront Hours Starting September 15th:
Wednesdays: New! The storefront will be open from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM for all your spirit wear shopping needs.
Chapel Chat
This week in Chapel, students we used color and discussed what each color represented. Be sure to ask your child about what each color represented.
Pray that God would allow each member of your family to truly repent of sin and to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ!
Chapel Offering Reminder: Our first 9-weeks Chapel offering will support Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson. Over the next two weeks, students are encouraged to bring a requested item on their assigned Chapel day—such as Kleenex, coloring books, crayons, games, or small toys. This is a wonderful way for us to share the love of Christ with children and families in need. Thank you for your support!
